When I was in college, we were given this last homework before a final exam in Quantum Mechanics. The exercice was very hard, even more so because the professor made a numerical mistake in the statement of the exercise, a mistake no one caught yet but which gravely impaired the possibility of resolving the problem from the get go. The class went banana like bees without a queen. The lazies, of course, went screaming "wE haVe tO wOrK toGetHeR!".

A friend/classmate and I were killing that class and all the other math and science courses, because we were in it to become astrophysicists. Naturally, we looked at each other and we both understood without saying a word that we'll be cracking this shit, just the two of us, at my pad this week-end.

While groups were forming, me and my boy heard this girl, from far away (an absolutely average who struggled hard in this class), telling another group that she wouldn't join them because me and my body were the two best in the class and she needed to join these two.

She approached us and begged to "work" with us this week-end, " we NEED to work together!". We responded with something along the line of "we're not a bank, Jerry". She left us in tears.

Me and my boy discovered together the mistake and aced the test like swimwear. The other working teams fared kinda ok, but no one failed... except that girl, who couldn't join any other groups now because bitch we're not your plan B. We're not smart enough, remember?

She gave a perfectly blank page. She didn't even try. No one showed sympathy.
