I've realized that the people who I'm most worried about fucking up with women over is other guys. We judge each other for how successful we are and ramp up our notch count to impress one another.

We should stop.

We need to realize we all have similar goals when it comes to women: to bed them. I'm all for friendly competition, but as guys we tend to derive a lot of our self worth from how many women we've slept with or how attractive we are to women.

We should stop.

As other redditors have pointed out, we should not derive our self worth from external sources--especially something as volatile and seemingly random as how many women we're able to bed. We should just start viewing getting laid/plates/ons/ltr's etc... As just another difficult thing in this life and work at what we can control, have compassion for guys with disparaging traits out of their control, and understand that we control some things and not others. We work in what we can control and accept the outcome either way because we are self-satisfied.

It reminds me of the direction of love. Men love women and women love children. Then who loves men? Other men. I see too many guys (not on TRP but in daily life) put other guys down for having a low notch count. As guys we all know how hard it is out there. No need to compound things.
