Intro

If I had to use just a couple words to describe the desire of most young men, I would say: “to become a baller.” Men want to beat the competition, make lots of money, and fuck hot women. We need to be in shape, well dressed, and absorbed in interesting work. We want to command respect from all, and be recognized as leaders in whatever fields we dedicate ourselves to.

What’s interesting, then, is how far away many guys get from this idea of “balling out.” I’m not talking about small failures here and there. I’m saying that many men will go in the exact opposite direction of “balling.” They become fat and lazy. They don’t talk to women, and will even (rightfully) be treated like second-class citizens by people who have their shit together. I’m fascinated by this divide between where most guys WANT to be, and where they actually ARE.

To explain this divide, people usually “beta shame.” In other words, we comment on how pathetic and lazy betas are. How they grovel at women’s feet and go years at a time without even seeing a gym. This is all true, but it still doesn’t answer the question: why do men sink to such lows? I mean, good habits aren’t that hard to maintain once they’re established. In fact, bad habits actually are harder over the long run, since they lock you into a low-energy state of apathy.

I need to tread carefully here, since the following point may come across as projection, but I do think the modern beta male has been let down by his culture. Realistically, the media no longer shows strong men. It encourages mediocrity, pleasure seeking, and addictive behavior. That’s not taking on a victim mindset - it’s just real. It’s what we’re dealing with in 2016. School is likewise feminized and openly socialist. Those two institutions combined with the epidemic of divorce and single motherhood, and you do have to ask yourself: at what point are young men taught what it means to be a man? I mean seriously, is there any one promoting healthy masculinity at this point?

Blue pilled schools, media, and family situations: that’s a lot of brainwashing to deal with for any body. We can talk about being strong Alphas who overcome this indoctrination all we want, but the fact of the matter is there are millions of guys right now who absorb this programming without even realizing it. It’s a real problem.

Lifestyle Creation

Personally, I think about where I want to be, and it’s funny how different it appears from the “mainstream” image of men. It’s like the lifestyle I desire has been purposefully erased from mainstream consciousness. Just for brainstorming purposes, I’ll show you what I mean:

I’m interested in becoming increasingly strong, tough, stoic, and masculine. I want to separate from the Herd, and primarily associate with other high-value individuals. I’m interested in accruing abundant rescues so my family can live a luxurious lifestyle. I am fascinated by the secrets of the universe, and would like to continue my personal education in the occult sciences, Real History, stoicism, and so on. I desire to fully self actualize, and to achieve what I would call “Red Pill enlightenment.” To become totally still, in the moment, living each day to the fullest. I intend to seize power, but not in an abusive or tyrannical way. Simply put: I want my life to move and bubble with interesting experiences and opportunities. I demand total independence and will bow down to no man.

I am well on my way to making this happen. But the road is just so different from mainstream consciousness it’s almost ridiculous. It’s like every conclusion I reach is the opposite of the norm. What is generally considered “good,” I often find myself thinking “Hmm…that actually seems kind of bad.”

Good for me is simply being full of Life. To wake up every day excited and energetic. Think about people you know in every day life. Clearly, some people are muddling through on auto pilot, whereas others are nearly bursting with energy and enthusiasm. That more active and alive state IS “Good,” it has nothing to do with giving to charity or being a “Nice Guy.”

Now, that begs the question: how can I become more alive? How can I increase my life-satisfaction on an every day basis? When I started honestly seeking answers to these questions, I did begin to exit the Matrix, since the conclusions I was reaching were so different from the norm. Take gender roles, for instance. I grew up totally accepting the liberal propaganda that men and women should be “equal.” This seemed like a no-brainer to me, since it was the “right” thing to do. “Who would be in favor of more inequality?” is a thought I would’ve had during this time period.

Then reality hit, though. And I realized that for me to fully actualize my potential, I couldn’t walk around with this humanistic ideal of making every one “equal.” It wasn’t leading me to become enthusiastic about life. I mean, really, how can you enjoy having sex with a woman (i.e. take pleasure in dominating her) if you’re all about equality? It doesn’t make any sense. This worldview produces cognitive dissonance, and leads to a bland and mediocre existence.

I now recognize that polarized relationships (i.e. being very masculine and very feminine) actually are GOOD. Adopting this mindset cleared fog from my mind, made me happier, and produces more results. In other words, it works in the real world and brings results.

Conclusion

Be a baller. Take the Red Pill, seize power, and live a meaningful life. Stop being so soft and brainwashed and socialist.
