Even as a RP man, I believe there is more to life and relationships than just sex with as many plates as possible.
However, your alpha friends are not aware of all the risks and pitfall of committing to just one woman. These are logical factoids you learn from reading TRP, whereas natural alphas miss out on a lot of these informational nuances.

Nah, it's not like that. Basically I believe that the emotions derived from an LTR, when handled with caution, can be quite enjoyable. But I have no illusions that an "LTR" is anything more than just an extended plate.

Sounds to me that if they couldn't maintain their mojo as alphas even in being in a monogamous relationship...they weren't really alphas. If you're a real alpha, you don't just "lose" it. The fact that your friend became a lame when his girl was around shows that she pretty much sapped any and all energy he had as an alpha.
