This thread in /r/relationships really sums up nicely I think the issues we are having these days with relationships:

http://www.reddit.com/r/relationships/comments/16ruz2/dating_a_woman_half_my_age_what_can_we_do_to_make/

The short story is that basically a guy's marriage breaks down and when he's finally out he dates a woman half his age, at 22. He asks for advice on how to deal with the judgement and issues around the age disparity.

The comments to that thread reveal what happens when blue pillers are faced with the reality they have created. The top 10 comments are full of projection and of course man hating. It's poor middle aged women being left for younger women by big mean men again. These poor poor women. Why can't men just accept their sexless lives and love their wives for who they are?

This guy didn't really discuss his divorce, but he was immediately painted the bad guy and the WOMAN he's dating is a painted as a naive child. From the sounds of it, this guy met her through fitness. I assume that at some point he snapped, like all betas do. He probably worked on his alpha and realized that he didn't have to stay in a loveless marriage with a woman who didn't care how much he improved himself. I'm not even defending the man himself. Maybe he was a giant douche during the whole thing and didn't even try and be alpha with his wife, or let her catch up to his changes. That's not the point though. The fact is that he is a man and you can't redefine his sexuality. That's what feminists and blue pillers can't accept. You can't redefine our primal biological imperatives just because you don't like them. They are what they are. You can't redefine feminine or masculine. You don't get to decide what a man should find attractive. You may not like it, but you can't change it. The same goes for women. That's what we red pillers do. Wouldn't it be great if women just loved us the way we needed without us having to work for it? Imagine if we could open up to her completely and just be a nice beta and she'd lay us like tile. Ya, those are nice dreams, but that's never going to happen. We learn to git red of that blue pill fantasy and live in reality.

The same goes for women though. Men like what men like. It's not going to change just because feminists want it to. As long as men have sex drives, your blue pill fantasy of "we just love each other no matter what" and "there is more to relationships than sex" will never come true.

If a woman gets complacent and stops laying her husband like tile, there will be consequences. This is pretty much how every relationship goes. If he's a beta who is also complacent in his role, then I don't even blame her for not being attracted. That's the whole point though. You don't reason your way around desire and attraction. You have to work to be attractive for your partner and it may not be what you want to do or what you consider your 'authentic self', but tough shit. That's reality. You can either have a fit when this reality hits you in the face - like a man in his 40s discovering his alpha and having a satisfying relationship with a woman in her 20s - or just accept our evolutionary imperatives and adapt.
