So I've been thinking, why isn't there a single online document contributed to by everyone and edited by the results of long debates that serves as a guideline for the most rational and moral point of human thinking?

Let me explain, people are constantly having debates all over the world about what is more moral, what political system works the best and all sorts of things that we've been trying to figure out for most of recorded history. If such a document existed it would have an index where you could find the results of any question that people have about the human condition, such as "why doesn't communism work?" "what is the cause of the gender earnings gap?" "why don't we do (this) economic system instead of (this)?" "prison or reform and why?" and so on.

Whenever someone has any question and people debate them on it the results would be recorded in category then alphabetical order on the document. If anyone has a question or problem with a result on the document it would be always open to debate online and the results would become the answer.

A document like this would be able to stop communism, fascism and corruption due to misunderstanding or misleading. It could be used as a tool to find the perfect economic system and the most efficient way of solving any problem or to know if a perceived problem is a problem at all (example gender earnings gap).

The knowledge in this would stop corruption because people would be able to instantly know what is going on in their country and how to stop it and the person doing so wouldn't be able to deceive the public with false information, any Marxist would have an refutable wall of evidence and examples that would stop them from gaining political ground on their misconceptions. Climate change deniers would have every one of their points denied by the common man because anyone would be able to find the evidence and solutions at their finger tips.

The only problems i see are how we would make and moderate this document with the ridiculous amount of information going through it and how we would stop people from manipulating it to push false information.

My idea is any user would have an account and when they choose to use this document/site they would first have to vote on results of debates made by people (similar to Urban Dictionary) to choose weather information should be updated or added. Or with the account people could make money by voting on answers, the account would be attached to the person's SIN number (or similar) as to prevent bots and duplicate accounts. Eventually the money could be funded by a government if this proves successful and becomes depended on.
