Hello all, I'm a 24-year-old college dropout currently living at home with my parents. The past year I managed not only to fail out of school twice, but also accumulate 25k in credit card debt with another 20k in student loan debt. I've also tried going back to community college but the financial burden was too much, and I ended up failing again. I figured that I need to get financially/mentally straight before I can even think about finishing school. I'm probably depressed but I'd like to beat this depression the red pill way.
In regards to the gambling, I started therapy and attending gambling anonymous meetings. I've been driving Uber on the side but I know need a real job with a routine. Not sure what to look for or what I'm even capable of. I just want to be financially sound again whatever it takes.
I haven't always been so helpless and I'd like to get back to who I used to be. I got myself into this mess and I'd like to help myself out, but I don't know how. I can't imagine many of you have experience with my situation, because I've truly been an idiot, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TLDR: 24 y/o Kicked out of School, 40k debt, gambling addict, living at home, trying to find a job/path, lost need advice
