Hi everyone. I'm going to admit it: I'm a 30 year old loser. I want to be a "winner" by the time I'm 40. I just read The Rational Male.

My job is fairly interesting/technical, but I don't make a lot of money from it. I'm 30. I've had few intimate relationships. I have spent my entire 20s just learning about life and social skills, but definitely behind my peers. I was socially awkward as fuck, though I feel confident now about appearing normal. I have a shit social life and circle. I live with roommates in a crappy townhouse, with bars over the windows, though in a safe neighborhood. I also have a slight personality disorder that has previously affected my ability to form relationships (fear of intimacy).

I was also born a loser. I have poor uneducated immigrant parents. Father died when I was infant. Mother was not a good parent and I lived in foster homes until I was 18. Learned 0 life skills from my parents. Family could care less about me.

I'm not without my pros :). I am fairly intelligent. College educated. I come across as confident and funny sometimes and many people have thought I was ultra confident and got a lot of poontang (though actually insecure inside). Ok height. Ok looks. Skinny, but in shape, not fat. I also ride a motorcycle (5-6 years) which to me is transportation but to women it's an aphrodisiac for some reason.

What I want is to do is strategize for the next 10 years. I actually have never planned my life ever (thus me being on reddit asking strangers for life advice). I want financial security, a job I love and excel in, a woman I love, maybe kids so that I can be the parent to them that I never had, in lieu of a wife and kids I want wonderful sexual opportunities, social status, and a solid social and professional circle.

I am currently taking some tests and planning to get an entry level job. Eventually go into Information Security. I just got a car again this year. I am lifting weights to keeping my T up and practicing basketball to get good and COMPETE! I am reconnecting with some old friends here and there that I know are good people. Currently single. Dating life is dry like the Gobi.

Any advice?
