I'm decent friends with a group of guys, Summer is just starting and they go out pretty often, normally 4-5 times per week. I'm probably the outlier of the group, hence the reason I'm on TRP (Well, it's not that, but that is a symptom of me in general). Regardless, I feel like I fit in pretty well and I'm decently well liked AFAIK.
Anyway, there's a group chat on facebook where everything is organised to do with goings out, normally to have a kick around with a football (Soccer) or to go to the beach. Anyway, I've never been one to browse social media a lot, and the whole constant validation thing frustrates me, but that's everywhere at my age (16).
Anyway, they went out 3 times last week. One time I was at another guy's house who they don't really like for some reason, another I just didn't read the chat, and just now I'm having a BBQ. Upon me saying today saying I didn't read FB and I have a BBQ today, I got removed from the chat and haven't been added back in the past 2 hours or so.
I'm not really sure how to respond to this. Do I message the guy who removed me and ask him what's up? Do I message somebody else in the group who I'm closer to and ask him what's up? Or do I just ditch the group entirely? I'm not very happy about just being removed with no justification, and it feels like it would be pretty beta to ask to be added back after they kicked me out. I should add that I normally go out with them and this week was the first week in a while where I haven't gone out with them at all.
I know that this is a little bit of a shit post, but I'm not really sure how to approach the matter and although I'm changing myself, I don't really know where the line is between just removing me because I'm not active enough (Therefore I just ask to be readded) or if there's another reason, where being removed would just come across as needy and desperate.
