First of all, this is my first time posting here, and it's only been like 6 months since i found TRP, so bear with me.

It's probably relevant to state that I live in a very small town, so most people know or at least know of each other.

So I met a HB7 this summer through mutual friends, she's 18 and I'm 21. We hung out multiple times throughout the summer at parties, movie nights with a couple of friends etc. On most of those nights it lead to us fucking. We hit it off even though she's very shy, but I didn't want to commit to her in other ways as I usually study in the city during most of the year.

The problem arose last week when I went to her place for an unspoken "last visit" before the summer ends. The day after I got some texts from a HB8 I haven't seen for years, who suddenly came to visit for this family meeting in town (not my family). We ended up drinking pretty much the whole weekend and obviously things happened. A friend of HB7 (best friend, sigh) also happened to be there some of the days, but she seemed fine with me being there, as she was the one calling for me to come one day (in hindsight, she probably wasn't though).

Now, of course, in some way HB8 got to know the best friend of HB7, and I don't even know how. As far as I know, I don't think they've exchanged information about what happened, but the best friend of HB7 seems to believe she has the information required to leak this to HB7, even though the only thing she saw was us drinking together. HB7 stopped texting and snapchatting me the day after the last party, and normally I wouldn't care. The thing is, the community here at home is so small that it'll probably spread like wildfire unless I do something. It's not really a common thing to plate girls where I come from, also this girl is a good friend of my sister...

Reading what I've written it sounds fucking ridiculous, but I'd like an opinion. Did I plain and simple fuck up and don't care about it (hey, i guess I do in some extent), or should I contact HB7 and play it off in some way? It might also be relevant that I so far have done nothing to acknowledge that this drama happened to any of the girls.
