“Everything in the world is about sex except sex. Sex is about power.” ― Oscar Wilde

I've been having a tough time seeing a pattern of behavior with AFBB. My ideas are unrefined. Why would women do some of the stuff i read in this sub and see in real life, sexual pleasure? I think it is about Power! Everything with women is a competition for power; it’s probably why women can be so mean to other women and why a woman never wants to lose an argument.

I am seeing three Pillars of Power that women seek:

  • Power to influence society

  • Power to provide

  • Power to improve their status amongst other women

Depending upon the social influences/circumstance a woman changes which pillar she prioritizes. Power to provide is straight forward. Power to influence society: wealth, political status etc. I believe this is where bad boys/criminals come in, some women will see a man’s ability inflict violence/fear as means to influence society to get what she wants and will seek to subdue and control this man to use his “Power”.

Power to improve their status amongst other women: being handsome, being popular/famous. Thinking about the “handsome felon” from a recent post, why wasn’t that guy a model before, why weren’t women already falling at his feet on the street, because he had no power. Being a pretty face isn’t enough, a woman has to be able to parade you among other women who find you attractive, allowing her to win the “competition”. If the pillars are real, why a women cheats becomes much clearer and predictable, her pillar of priority changes and she seeks it out.

Additionally the modern woman sees a man not as potential partner but as competitor for resources no different than another woman thus seeks to win against a male sexual partner, especially if he “weak” (lacks power). That’s why a housewife would engage in a an affair instead of improving her man, humiliating her weak man is a win and sexually excites her, if the man she is cheating with has the pillar of power she is presently prioritizing she seeks a prolonged relationship.

Just an idea. Thoughts?
