I'll try to be as short as possible. I'm 24. I have a chronic disease which prevents me from eating certain foods and I can lose a lot of weight when I get really sick (Ulcerative Colitis). Unfortunately I had a surgery and as a result, I'm down to 80 kilograms. I used to have around 100 kg (195 cm tall), exercised in the gym and played pickup soccer and basketball with my friends. I wasn't jacked, but I had strength. That changed when I started shitting blood and had cramps etc.

Since the health problems came, I've been gradually returning and my health is slowly getting better. However, with all the restrictions and side effects from medicine, my road will be a lot harder than the average guy's road - only protein I can stomach is chicken breast, I don't absorb nutrients well enough, prone to infections more than average... And I have to eat shit food to fill the calories. No veggies for me.

I'm okay with all that, I can endure, but now I admit I feel somewhat insecure. I never had body image issues when I was at healthy weight. I would get naked with a girl and have fun. Now I kinda look like an Auschwitz survivor. It'll take time until I return to something normal, but in the meantime I want to have sex, obviously. I take care of myself in every way, dress well, hygiene, beard is tidy etc. I'm just tall and skinny with no strength at all. I don't feel "powerful".

I focused on myself and my health this whole year because of that so I ignored women, but lately I get approached by some girls who show interest. One girl in particular has shown quite an initiative to get to know me and I want to "get back on the market". However, I just feel like an imposter in this body and can't believe someone would find this attractive. I can talk the talk, but I am kinda anxious about sex again. It's kinda frustrating. Can you offer your thoughts? Thanks for listening.
