I recently was promoted to a position where I will be responsible for bringing in and managing new clients. With this comes the responsibility of networking and negotiating with possible clients online, but also at conventions and other events around the world.

Any of you guys with sales and other relevant experience, what are some important things I should know and improve on to excel at this new position?
