Hello, I'm wondering why I'm like this, I'm very redpilled/alpha in theory but not when it counts.

I was basically raised by a single mother, I lived every other week with my dad up until like 10-11 but never lived there permanently because he's an unreliable person, but we've had contact.

In mindset I'm very redpilled, and I've always been pretty much and when I was younger I was even acting on it, getting girlfriends etc.

Then something happened, I started playing this video game and quickly became addicted to that/sugar/porn among other things and basically became a social outcast missing out a big part of my youth.

I've since quit videogames/sugar and have a very good diet and I'm starting to work out. Porn is harder to quit but I'm doing progress and I can tell it' for the better.

One thing I do to much still is watching movies/tv-series, instead of going out doing stuff, which I feel kind of fucks me a bit.

Another thing though is that because of my lifestyle and my choices I've basically become a social outcast, I talk to people in school and I'm not weird in any way, it's just that I don't have friends I can hang out with in my personal life.

So my question is why am I like this? Why can't I act on how my mind is telling me to act? Even though I know what to say I cannot seem to do it, and I act like a beta.

And do you guys suggest quitting computer altogether? IE putting it down in the basement etc?

Also, how do I go out about finding friends now that I'm a bit older? I'm 23 now and I still live at home to save in on university costs of having to move (don't wanna indebt myself) but I'm only having a few courses a week (4 out of 7 days) and lots of free time without a job.

Please help.
