so a few weeks ago I went out on a date with a girl from a college class.

I had been familiar with red pill ideology before but hadn't really locked in on the mindset or attitude quite yet, which is why I want to ask about a specific situation and how I could have handled it. (A lot of things I have figured out in retrospect but still would appreciate your guys view on this)

So the date starts of fairly well, we go to a botanical garden on a walk and just have decent conversation while laughing and enjoying our time. She told me she was meeting friends later in the day so I was just trying to make the most of it before she had to go.

We went to grad some food at a place she wants to go to and then she suggested grabbing some bubble tea (which I never had and did not enjoy in the slightest to be honest) so we get to the place and it's fairly packed so we're standing in que when suddenly her friends show up (which she didn't inform me of, I woulda dipped if I knew but figured since we are in que already it'd be rude to just leave after waiting with her for a few minutes already)

One of them was very friendly but not blessed with the best looks but the other was fairly good looking and tall, but I had a very weird feeling the second the guy showed up. While we are still in que I make small talk with him and he tells me he is an entrepreneur that has his own evrnt marketing firm and is looking to go into gastronomy. He asks me if I am looking for a job , I tell him I got one but am open to work nights and weeks, he suggests fiscussing it further after we get the tea.

Girl then suggests we go to this summer garden at this estaurant where she has a shift later in the day. So we ride in the care of the friendly guy and it's just them bantering and telling inside jokes or stories about people I don't know and at this point I'm getting a weird vibe.

We end up at the summergarden, sit down and they all are glued to their cell until AMOG starts his pitch. Not even three sentences in and I know where this is going. Last semester I saw a job offering on a poster in Uni, went for an "interview", which was really a MLM pitch, figured out it was all very shady stuff and walked away never to think or hear about it again until that moment.

The second the guy started firing of all these buzzwords (flat hierarchy, upline, independent, flexible schedule, income streams etc.) I realized what he was talking about. So I started asking a few questions which he would deflect or ignore and I got a little agitated as he asked what I planned to do with my life (become a professor), he belittled it and the income tied.

The girl and the other guy are still staring at their phone at this point, meanwhile a third guy has joined (manager off the place and her roommate apparently) and I ask them about the company. They were all in on it, all recruited by this AMOG.

At this point I was internally seething with anger, felt like I was set up somehow (which in retrospect I doubt atleast on her part, she never mentioned the company before or during our date) and tried to appear sceptical but open in order not to look too much like a douchebag.

I decide to leave, but not before the guy pushes his nr on me. Afterwards my mind was all over the place and so were my emotions. The date had been great up until that interaction and I was legitimately digging the girl so it was a big letdown but I didn't see it for the red flag that it was. Cue massive, pointless investigating of the company (Kyäni for those of you wondering), from litteraly reading everything I could about the company, it's products and business models to how MLM's work in general (for example John Olivers Video on it https://youtu.be/s6MwGeOm8iI )

I decided I wanted to help/rescue these people, yes I am an aware how absolutely stupid that sounds after the fact. Met up with the girl before her work shift and told her everything I found out avout the company (distributors saying the products cure cancer, their legal troubles and so on). She's not impressed, says that actions of individuals don't reflect on the company as a whole etc.

At this point I'm obviously 100 times more invested in this person than she can ever be in me at this point but all my dating experience and all the trp and stoicism stuff I have been reading on it out of my mind, I just want them to not get exploited and exploit people. The talk doesn't really lead anywhere but here confusion as I why I care so much what they do for a living.

After that I annoy all my co-workers, my friends and my family with this story and ask their advice, they all in unison tell me to just walk away.

As you might have guessed, your boy the genius decides to double down and expose this company and end up a "hero".

Well, turns out there's a seminar and the AMOG invites me to attend. I plan on going in, get an idea of the whole schtick and maybe film or record "evidence" for police and courts to have something to work with. Worst idea I probably ever had.

I decide texting the girl letting her know that I don't want to date her anymore but keep the reasoning fairly vague.

Liie an idiot, I get upset about after a talk with a friend because I "want" her, so I end up trying to call her a few times, she never picks up and we end up never talking again.

So yeah, it's obvious to me that I messed up a million times and could have easily still gotten with her and gotten out but I was convinced that her and her friends are good people but just misguided and needed help.

Tl;dr meet girl and her friends, AMOG pitches MLM scheme, I go big dumb dumb and get ghosted
