Forget about amicable. Obviously that won’t happen. Do what you have to do to save enough money to make a clean break them do it. And don’t be such an idiot next time.

I'd say wait to get a new job lined up and do whatever you want in the meantime. Have fun, go out and do stuff solo, hit the bars, meet new people and give her no indication of what you're up to. Put passwords on all your stuff and make sure she can't access it. Maybe look for a friend/coworker/couch surfing website to get out of that place to avoid the impending drama. Worst thing you could do is sit there and stagnate and not do anything. Second best idea is to just jet if you have someone who can host you back home for a bit, take the loss on the rent and move back.
