Talking on the phone with a girl I danced with at a party a week ago and I said we need to hang out sometime. She then asked me “ are you asking me or telling me? I responded “ we gotta hang out sometime “ and then I asked her when she was available but I could tell there was a bit of uncomfortable tension and I won’t be surprised if come Friday she flakes. Should I have responded that way or was there a better way? Thanks
