My buddy I lift with is a beta to the max. He's got an LTR, not married, but they live together, have a 2 year old, and she's pregnant.

He'd tell me stories of how he's disrespected by his LTR and by his 'in-laws'. His LTR orders him around, spends a lot, then complains when he wants to spend. The in-laws visit for weeks at a time unannounced, eat his food and expect him to feed and clean up after them. Obviously he's allowed this to happen to himself.

Recently his sister in law visited them unannounced with her kids and stayed for weeks. She's a shitty mom that lets her kids get away with stuff, and he brought the problem up to his wife when their 2 year old was physically attacked. It got to a big fight (him arguing with her) and he got kicked out of the house. He brings home the main income, but apparently the house is hers (maybe purchased by her parents - not sure).

I told him to cut contact and he has, but he does have his 1.5 child(ren) to think of. He said he was going to shut off utilities to the house (again, he's the main income), which I suppose is good too.

Before this happened I gave him advice like "train your woman better", or "if that was me it would be over, kids or no", but he hasn't really done much. Now us lifting buddies are giving him moral support as he's staying at his parents.

He's just finished his degree and may start getting paid 3x more soon. I don't know if he'll end it, but if he does, how does this affect child support? How can I help him with advice? What should he be doing?
