I've decided to start trying out the app, and experimenting my first glance SMV. It is well known that black people and other minorities do poorly on dating apps, and should ultimately pursue day game. Honestly, I'm not at that point yet. I think testing out the waters with Tinder is a good first step.

So...

  1. Should I have a shirtless selfie in my profile? Should it be my first picture? This works for white guys. Is it too much for black guys. I have visible abs and toned arms, but I'm by no means in the top 10% aesthetically speaking. But definitely getting there. Will be there for the summer.

  2. Should I be polarizing? Should I go for the safe, professional black guy in my photos, to show girls I'm not like the rest? From threads I've read, tinder pics have to be of you doing cool shit. Shit that's out of the ordinary. But for a black male, wearing suits and dress shirts accomplish this image? Is a picture of a black guy drinking Starbucks more intriguing than playing basketball shirtless?

  3. What should the first picture say? He's black, has nice abs? He's black, has white friends so its safe? He's a black professional, probably well spoken and safe enough?

I'm looking for perspectives of all of you who have a clue behind the rationale these crazy hoe's make on a black dude.
