My friend and I game often together. Unfortunately he is very very very salty 99% of the time. He cannot let things go, blames everyone for his mistakes but himself, gives waaaaayyyy to many fucks to what other random strangers in our team think or say and basically fails to take responsibility for anything. He's also like that in real life. He's a great guy though, with great humour. The problem is though that 1) I really want him to take responsibility, since he either makes our team rage hard, or he irrationally blames me. 2)I want him to be more respectful to me. When he is salty again he talks rather disrespectful. 3) In the past I've already drawn the line at him being so mad he intentionally tried to lose the game, so I just hang up the call and stopped talking to him for a few days after I've said to him I didn't like his behaviour. However he hamstered his way around this, as he told our mutual friend how he was not to blame etc.

How the heck can I enforce my boundaries to him without cutting him out of my life? I'm learning about boundaries, so I'm still a retard in that regard.
