This is a terrible place to ask people about BPD because people on AskTRP tend to scream BPD about any creature that is emotional. So basically, all women.

It would be better to go and look up symptoms of BPD on a medical website. Then you'll get a real answer.

I recently divorced a woman after a two year marriage who had severe BPD. A lot of guys on here will say it is just "womens emotions run amok". Very simply yes, but only in a general sense. BPD is a very severe mental illness with only one part of it being emotional. Think of it as the "governor " on her emotions does not exist. The slightest thing can send them spiraling. It can be a something simple that in their mind causes an mental trigger (usually related to memories of previous traumatic experiences).

BPD also has a lot of other syptoms, impulsive behavior, substance abuse, risk taking, self harm, lack of a sense of self identity, anxiety, intense fear of abandonment.

All of these swirl and compete with each other. Think about someone who has an intense phobia, the totally irrational fear that drives them. How they act around their fear trigger, ( needles, snakes, height, etc). Now take that fear and multiply by 100. They live with that intensity every day. It is miserable for them and destructive to their partner.

Take it from me, they will consume you and destroy as you try to appease all the above issues. There is no winning with them. They are emotional and psychological vampires and will drain your energy. They have a habit of dropping their partners out of the blue in the most cold hearted manner and moving on, chasing what they think will make them happy, but it never does.

From painful experience, you have been warned.

You will probably be drawn to bpd woman because normal woman will seem boring.

You probably will develop some bpd traits yourself.
