I'm in a long distance relationship with a girl I've known and have been sexually active with for more than 5 years. Our new relationship is barely a month old.

I had to work late tonight and she wanted me to video call her on Facebook when I got off since we haven't had a chance to since Thursday. She doesn't know yet (still sleeping, keep going for deets) but I was going to surprise her to say I'd be home for the weekend. I had a few beers when I got home to loosen up and tried calling her but she was sleeping(?). I was a little pissed and just out of nature left a voicemail that consisted of a few second pause and me saying "...answer my fucking call." It wasn't angry, more monotone, but I regretted it immediately which must be a clear sign that I broke frame.

I've been trying to contemplate how I'm going to handle it in the morning, whether it be explaining that I was drunk or just ignoring it completely. What if she doesn't contact me first? I just want to learn how to play it right
