The way I see it: there's the frame itself and there's your ability to impose said frame onto others. This means you have two options: either get better at imposing your frame onto others (physicality, humor, trolling, etc) or get a better frame (intellectual achievement, certifications, reading more, etc), or both.

One implication of this concept is interesting: are intellectual goals just a consequence of the individual's inability to impose his frame onto others? If a man has very little ability in imposing his frame onto others (short, weak, ugly), then his ONLY choice is to search for a frame that does all his work for him; the frame essentially is imposed onto others with very little effort/ability from the man.

Another consequence of this dichotomy is that if society makes it even harder for men to impose their frames onto others, then frames will get even better to counteract the imbalance.
