Spend time with the man. As much as you think you can and should. Your emotionlessness is a plus given he is in pain. Just be next to him. He will appreciate it. You will not regret it later.

Only thing i can say is that The man with The Hammer when you don't expect it. Go spend some time with your granddad Brother. Once he is gone he is gone and you wont ever be able to talk to him anymore. I had a experience of loosing someone myself Also who i loved very much. Only when she passed is when i cried for months. Goodluck and stay strong.

There's nothing wrong with you, when I lost my grandma my mom told me and I barely felt anything. Then at the funeral I went all out.

When my oneitis broke up with me I also cried a lot.

Then my second grandma died, same thing. Barely felt anything when I got the news. But at the funeral I cried the most.

Don't try to force feelings just to be like your relatives. Also, you aren't your emotions. Accept them, acknowledge them and continue. Look into mediation.
