This is one thing I don't get. Anything you read online about "charisma" says it's all about making the other person feel good. However, there are lots of examples of people throughout history who would millions of followers, but were very cold and even an asshole to those they interact with. Steve Jobs comes to mind as an example. I get how this can work on women, but it seems to work in non-seductive circumstance as well.

How do people pull this off?
