Had a similar post on r/dating_advice but didn't really gain much exposure and the potential advice was going to be normie anyway.
I'm a Chinese international student currently in a Canadian university, and I would like to pursue a LTR/meaningful relationship with a Canadian (US interchangeable) woman that is going to add value to my life. I would not consider Asians.
Being a very dominant and rational person, I seldom expressed emotions other than joyfulness from funny things and jokes. I'm also very disagreeable and have very low empathy. Despite having an general attraction towards females, I never had an attachment towards anyone or had any libido, which is probably the reason why I haven't had a romantic relationship with a female yet (another one being growing up in China so most of my free time is used studying). Female "looks" and their physiques does not affect me in a visible way, to me they are nothing more than a bunch of biological materials. Similarly, sexual intercourse is nothing special, which is just another mundane thing we do.
The sole reason for me to date is to find a long-term partner with decent personality and character (no whores), an acceptable level of attractiveness, and willing to provide support if I need it. If at all possible, I would like to get one LTR and enter straight into marriage.
I'm not interested in casual dating or FWBs. Not to say I'll definitely not pursue such things, just that I won't be arranging time for improving "game" or having sex. I'm not interested in the 80/20 rat race and playing meaningless mind games.
As for my social status, I'm studying business and have several hobbies (Kendo, building computers, programming and data analysis, piano, reading, politics, cooking, audiophile). I'm relatively well-versed in politics and social issues and can hold an intelligent conversation on areas I'm familiar of. English is not an issue, people often don't realize I'm not born in Canada. I'm a member of several clubs in my school and looking to start my own club. I'm planning to get a part-time job or start my own business.
Personality wise, apart from the traits mentioned above, I'm also pretty relentless. As long as not doing something dumb, I will get what I want no matter what. From a dating standpoint, pretty much no dramas or shit-tests will ever bother me. Can't think of any weaknesses at the moment.
For physicalities, I'm 6'2 and consider myself good-looking. Not very muscular at the moment, but will be sometime later on.
I would like to know your thoughts regarding the feasibility of pursuing LTRs in college, especially with my background (dating novice, international student, Asian), approaching strategies, vetting strategies, self-improvement advice, and things I need to know/beware of.
