Hey, first post and new account.

Let's start off with a little about me, I'm introverted, not that good at social interactions, fat nerd in high school. But I am trying to better myself socially and morally. I am only looking for a LTR and I'm a college freshman who met a girl I like.

Now about her, she's real cute, nice, funny, laughs at my jokes, probably just a very nice person, can't tell if she likes me. She plays soccer and likes sports in general. Her parents never let her have snapchat but now she has one in college and we have a streak. The first time I met her I think we hit it off, but again, my game is bad, I am new to TRP, I am not good at making girls laugh.

She was in a LTR with her presumably first ??? boyfriend who goes to college 2 hours away, lives at home, and is very jealous. She has barely ever drank or smoked before college. About a week ago she went out and got drunk with a guy she met at the gym and cheated on her boyfriend. Then she called her boyfriend the next night with her friends and me around but out of earshot to tell him what she did. Being new to this freedom and access to alcohol, she didn't mean to cheat, it was just a slip-up and she felt remorse and apologized for her actions.

Then it gets bad, her boyfriend screamed at her till she was crying then called her back 5 minutes later, said, "You're a whore." and hung up. Anyway seeing someone I'm attracted to go through such an emotional time hurts, even if you barely know her and might just be infatuated.

This was a week ago tomorrow, and she is still sad but tries not to show it (I know because I overheard a few phone calls and can tell the signs). I want to know what can I do to try to make her feel better as someone who likes her? We only hang out about twice a week with friends to eat, play games, or play sports and I have a snapchat streak with her.
