I would like to know your take on something that happened to me, just as scientists trying to develop an hypothesis: I have a two years old ltr with a girl my age (28), she was in a previous ltr for 6 years with a guy way older than him, who took her virginity and had her on rotation for two years (19 and 26). She says he was her "boyfriend" but he didn't consider himself as such, which I presume is a receipt for alpha widow. The thing is that they "broke up" when they had lived together for two years, where they experienced the dead bedroom syndrome for almost all the two years, with her not wanting to touch him, and only in vacation because "it was the due thing". She started misbehaving and finally the guy left her house, in which the two of them were living, him paying a rent.

The thing is that I checked her phone (I know I know, but just get to the science pls) and they have been talking perhaps once a month. I asked her and she said that it was just him always calling her, and that she just was polite with him. I saw a few emails as well with the guy trying to show high value with ideas or stupid shit. For example, she is vegan and the guy saying that there is a conspiracy or something regarding meat. He turned to veganism, she "converted" him, his fault I guess.

My question is, do you think she still thinks he is high value and keeps him as plan b? or is she just punishing him for not providing and enjoying the moment? Some more info: the guy is way shorter than me, but much more of a egoistical kind of guy and player, he almost never spent money or time with her, always working or in sports.

When I confronted her I almost leave her and she started to cry and everything, she also phoned the guy and pass it to me, I just asked if they had met while with me, to know if leave her at the moment, but the guy told me that he tried but she refused. Before knowing me she used to meet with his "ex" just to eat or things, but they never do anything sexual, just like friends, and I believe it. Since then, all the power is in my hands and do what I want, planning to leave her sooner or later anyways, I wouldn't like my future ltr to have kids with to have that past (n count of 8 with me) just want to know why a girl would do this to learn more: is she alpha widow longing for a partner that was too much for her and never provided for her? is she just trying to punish him for it? is she attached still and can't move on? is she just using him as his beta pet? thanks mates, Appreciate every input for the name of science
