I have discovered RP a few months ago and have recently made a huge stride in my understanding and personal development. Unfortunately, I am in a twilight zone because my lifetime of fem-internalizing and toxic-shame has left me with less social longevity than your average guy.

One problem however, that I keep facing, is that all of my friends are plugged in. Every time I choose to do/say something RP inspired (eg. not getting a girl coffee when she says I don't have to") the guys I know rise up and call me shit, trying to paint me as a bad person. I have to spend the next 2 years in close contact with these people because it is quite a tight major in my university. All I can think of in response are pointless curses and personal jabs, which to be frank, is below me. What can I do? Its too late to join a frat.

I have a feeling I need to say/do what I need to as a man, and give up the people I have befriended in my beta days, endure a period of loneliness, and attract a more alpha/rp crowd of men and women that respect me. I am worried that last part may never come.
