Background: Girl I used to talk to, she’s insecure, used to share mutual feelings but I ultimately cut her off.

She started texting me on Snapchat, which I rarely use because mobile communication isn’t really my thing, but I decided to reply for about a 6 message chain. She transferred here and after a funny run in, these messages ensued tonight.

J: On Halloween you called out my name and then said “oh Shit it’s actually you.” Was that coincidental or were you just hoping I would show up? 😂 You were the last person I expected to be at the top of those steps.

Me: No, I just saw a girl walking up and decided to fuck with them by saying the first name that came to mind which was J. Funny it was actually you.

J: Wow, very funny. I was just kidding. (2 minutes pass) but it’s also late, so who knows.

Me: based off of context clues I’m gonna say you weren’t.

Her: (don’t remember what she said here) well I’m gonna go to bed! Sleep well when you do!

I didn’t reply.

I’m learning to differentiate shit tests and comfort tests, and would like to know what she threw at me here.
