Met this girl during a town event around Christmas. I couldn't close her number since I was working with the organizers and I got busy.

For some reason she found me on instagram and decided to follow me. I accept and follow back. We exchange a couple of messages and I grab her number to schedule a date.

We were set to meet tomorrow, I had a plan in mind and decided not to reveal it until today, after I make sure she can make it.

Thing is she told me days ago she really wants to tell me something but she will keep it till after we meet because she is shy, and she replies immediately to my texts.

Long story short, I ask her via text if she can make it tomorrow, and she says that she can't. I ask her to suggest another day, stating Monday as an option since it's a holiday (she resumed her studies the day after the new year). Says she has 3 students that she has to give lessons to but is not sure about the times. A bell rings in my head that she might have lost interest, but I still suggest that we move it to next Saturday, and told her that I won't be available a lot after that (University resumes, I still have to hit the gym daily and work on my side projects, I also will start working with my uncle in his software business, so I'm very limited with my schedule most of the time). She replies with she doesn't know and we'll talk. I tell her to have fun with her students and leave the convo.

I'm planning to ask her out again on Wednesday or Thursday next week, If she won't be available, that's a hard next.

Am I handling the situation well? How could I have done it better for the next time around?
