Been dating this chick for the past month. Everything was going great. Every week I would see when she was free to get together and every time she would tell me when she was free and we would get together.

This week I did the same and she responded “ honestly I have so much homework for finals this week and I’m really busy right now, now is not the best time. I’m sorry”

So I responded “ okay well I’ve enjoyed getting to know you this past month. And if you change your mind, let me know and we can pick up where we left off 🤙🏼”

I haven’t contacted her since and don’t plan on it. If she hits me up I’ll just plan another date.

I kinda read between the lines and took it as she’s not interested right now. But now I’m second guessing and thinking she may could just be busy. And if so, what i said in response to her may make me look like I don’t want anything to do with her.

Did I do the right thing?
