I know we don't like to use the terms "alpha" and "beta" here because they're too vague, but bear with me second...

I've noticed in the families of friends and relatives that the sons who were more "alpha" tended to gravitate towards spending time with dad. The sons who were more "beta" tended to be with their moms.

Speaking for myself, I was very close with my dad, and found my mom annoying as hell. My brother on the other hand, was always with mom. I was the natural leader of our siblings, whereas my brother was a "mama's boy"

I mean, think about the implications of the term "mama's boy"

Anyone have any comments on this?
