I would have not accepted "probably". It gives her an out. When you go to confirm, she will wait 2 hours to respond and cancel.

But since you have to confirm now, make it funny. Like, "I hope your wearing matching underwear for the big night." or "Make sure to bring your passport ,some string, and the spring from a ball point pen for tonight." Or anything that assumes she is going out and the time will be epic.

As others have said, confirm a few hours ahead of time, but only ask once. Next the chick if she doesn't give a proper response or flakes.

I find flaking for an agreed meet-up is incredibly disrespectful if the girl backs out without proper notice or gives a flimsy excuse. She clearly doesn't respect your time or worth if she does either of those.

Like the other comment, a couple hours before just text "You still up for drinks tonight" no question mark no full stop no nothing, if no answer then you must cut contact completely.

For future reference, if you set up a meeting, lets say 2 days, that's soon enough to not require a text until just before, but if you set up a week from now, you'll have to text her once or twice to keep the flame/spark going on.

Here's a few other tings you might like to use:

"Today is the big day, you nervous?"

"Don't be nervous tonight lol"

"I bet you've begun putting on make up for tonight already, nervous?"

Shit like that, don't take the date too seriously
