My stance on this has nothing to do with TRP.

If I invite someone out one on one I pay.

The paying isn’t that big of a deal if your game is tight enough where she doesn’t think you’re paying to satisfy her but you’re paying because that’s your mindset.

If you’re just starting out and you’re new to game though I recommend telling the waiter you’re getting separate checks though.

Sets a baseline that you can’t fuck up if you go on a second date.

I personally pay because 1) I can afford it no problem. 2) I don’t see this as something that can fuck you over if all your others bases are in check.

This type of thing does help weed out the crazy red flag ones though. If they demand you pay you leave.

If maintaining plates you both should invest “equally” in paying for meals.
