Do we(humans) really believe our own bs? Do we truly want what we say we do? Or is it the rush of dopamine from fulfilling the chase? Once we get what we want, & it dies down, we're suddenly being "thankful for what we have" so not to seem like an ungrateful shit. Once she ropes you in, the sex dies down. Once you bust that nut, you don't even want her after all that time seducing. Months into that career you busted your ass for, you feel like calling into work. Once you swallow the pill, you're asking yourself "what now". I'm jaded. Don't want to want anymore. However, that inner manifest destiny drives us to better. The mission makes us succeed. So how do I find peace? I don't want to be a slave to dopamine. I want the chase itself. I want what the journey is turning me into. The freedom & abundance. I don't want to want for anything.
