Shave it, move on and for the love of fucking Christ do not grow it out for anyone, it's like a sick trick so no one else will find you attractive (learned this the hard way). Take a pic (we don't need to see your face) i did this back in the and could not believe how shitty it looked on camera)

Same situation, a little older. It's obviously thin around the crown but difficult to notice if I keep it very close cut. Haven't shaved it clean yet although my friends encourage me to. I will once I trim down another twenty pounds or so. I do not have the ability to grow a full beard so I stay clean shaven but luckily I have a good looking skull. Beards are questionable anyways frankly. It is what it is. Stay well groomed, don't worry about it. I honestly cringe at dudes with shaggy hair or a limp gel job now, it's very rare to see a guy with good hair who actually gives it the time of day.
