My ex has found out about one of my plates and has told her that we've been fucking and that ive been asking her to get back together which is complete and utter bullshit lies.

Plate believes it all and is pretty pissed, she text me "I feel like such an idiot, you fucked your ex while we were texting, at least i know the truth".

Why is my telling her lies, does she want me back or just trying to sabotage things? Whats the best way to handle this situation?
