I've recently swallowed the red pill. Perhaps I've over medicated myself, but in my attempts to become an alpha male, I've seem to have over-done it.

I don't need a pharmacist, just TRP diagnosis.

Ive been in a relationship going on 4 years now, and I've never asserted dominance over her. I was extremely submissive, the kind of guy who would agree with her knowing it would please her, and avoid an argument.

I've been a follower of this sub reddit for a while now, so I don't know how this following situation is meant to be handled.

I was sitting next to my SO browsing Netflix. I asked her to pick a movie, because I was undecided. She then swiped at me (open fisted). I leaned back to avoid it, but it still grazed my nose. Gesturing me to "shh" whilst pointing at the phone on her ear.

I was furious.

I was quiet 20 minutes after she got off the phone, then she has the audacity to ask me "what's wrong with you?". I whispered in her ear (her family was in the room) "don't you dare lay your fucking hands on me again. How dare you, you don't do that to people".

Two hours later, I told her I was leaving. As customary, I farewelled her family, and she walked me out of her apartment complex. Before departing, she tells says to me that I was "being mean" and "I shouldn't talk to her like that". Once o brought up the fact that she attempted to slap me, and that she's done it before, she justified it by turning the fact that I swore at her. We argued for a few minutes, then she started crying. I just left her like that.

I'm conflicted. I haven't spoken to her in 3 weeks. Did I come off too assertive. I know a man's pride is worth more than gold, but it is worth a relationship? What should I do?
