I've started adopting trp principles. But there's this kid, let's call him Josh, I know. I'm 75% he reads trp, because he follows all the advice and principles.

Anyway, I started lifting a couple months ago, dressed better, learned better social skills and became more assertive, etc. The problem is, I'm acting exactly like Josh is acting: he lifts, I lift. He dresses well, I dress well. I'm acting more assertive, he acts the same way. It even goes for our hobbies. The reason I know him to begin with is because we're in the same classes and do all the same clubs/sports: newspaper, debate, model un, swimming.

Other people have picked up on this. They're commenting how I'm acting like Josh. Since Josh has acted assertive, lifted, and has the reputation for longer, people think of me as basically a knockoff Josh. I've even heard people calling me 'the dollar store version of Josh'.

So I'm basically too similar to him. What do I do? Do I simply adapt my personality? I feel like that would be breaking frame majorly.
