I had a coffee date last sunday. If you read my previous post, I turned down a coffee date previously, which made no sense but I learned from a stupid mistake.

So I met a girl saturday night, agreed with her to go grab a coffee sunday afternoon. I selected the place, and time. All the important notes:

  • We meet, she wanted to shake hands and I go for a hug. Awkward, but I didn't let it mind me.
  • I payed the coffee
  • We sit down, across the table.
  • I start with the basic, boring questions about what she does for living blah blah...
  • She guessed my age right and I high five her and she seemed to like it
  • I start talking about music (that's what I do, and some girls get turned on by it but I'm not sure if she was that interested in that aspect of me)
  • I make her laugh and giggle a little, the conversation flowed just okay considering that she was really quiet and didn't contribute that much effort in to the conversation
  • Couple silent breaks which weren't that long but made me a little annoyed and nervous (I was fairly nervous already because she's a 8-9 on a scale)
  • The date was only about 30 minutes long, I said I had to get going early which was kind of the truth)
  • At some point I was talking about this club and area of city that's known for good music and good people (I said), and she said that we should go there some time.
  • Made couple of mistakes like asking if she goes on alot of dates (if she has guys chasing her)...
  • I let her know that we have to leave, we get up and out of the coffee shop, we left into different directions but before we half hugged, in that I don't really give a fuck - way, and I said we keep in touch...

I haven't contacted her since and neither has she, I'd be interested in hearing of possible fuck ups and what would be the beat move to maybe invite her for the second date. I'm interested in her enough to give it a chance.
