I have read a lot on TRP pretty much for the past months. I came across a post about "nice guys" and I can recall only once in my life where I was called a nice guy and it was done indirectly.

The situation: It happened when they told one of my close friends to date me because I was a sweet guy since we've known each other for so long (I've known her since grade school). My close friend is of-course a female and in no way am I attracted to her. I don't text her at all (like 3-4 times every six months and it's only about school). Essentially the only times I see her is when I run into her at school and that's about it. The day that this took place was with a group of her friends which I am acquainted with and barely talk to (again only when I run into them at school and the conversations are usually about midterms/tests/what classes we take, etc). I don't have any of their numbers and never asked for them. My sister overheard the conversation about me while they were in the library.

I was wondering what are some possible things that I might have done to come across as a sweet guy. Essentially I'm trying to analyze my past behavior by understanding this scenario.
