Hello, Redpillers. This is my first post here, so bear with me.
I entered into a LTR with someone as of 2 1/2 months ago. A little background before I divulge into the present:
She is my best friend's sister, and I know that isn't acceptable in some circles, but I already had that talk with my best friend. Me and him have been friends for 9 years now, and she has always had feelings for me. Over time, I gradually developed feelings for her. Anyways, last November, I started getting into touch with my best friend again, and she had a bf at the time. This guy was, well, Bluepilled. I could tell they weren't gonna last very long, seeing as he had drinking problems, and they just didn't mesh very well at all. Six months later, right as my feelings developed even more, her bf was referred to AA and they broke up. It was like the universe gave me what I wanted and I was in the right place at the right time. So, we started talking and hit it off pretty well, then I had a blue pill moment one day when she didn't text me back quick enough (big mistake I know) and in a fit of neurosis, asked her how she felt about me. She admitted the feelings she had for me and we jumped right into things afterwards.
So now, we are pretty awkward together and don't really go out and do anything except sit around and fuck or bullshit with 'the guys', and I text her more than I call, mainly cause I don't like talking on the phone. Social Anxiety and depression are two major things affecting my life ATM. And I've caught a serious case of Oneitis as well, which I've tried combatting.
Basically, I'm asking how I can make this relationship work because I feel that it will go to ruin if we continue the course we're on. We don't communicate well, and from what I've gathered here, communication isn't exactly advocated here, so can anyone elaborate on that notion?
Sincerely, someone who has recently discovered TRP.
