I know it is nerve-wrecking, it's something I myself still struggle with. But the main idea is to always have your "to-go" lines and moves, and I'm going to share some practical advice I learnt from doing this (I only did it twice with the same girl, so it's not very very practical and certain it'll work).

So with that being said, let's proceed to the actual advice.
