Met this girl the other day. Talked for 30 minutes. Grabbed her number and texted her the next week this is roughly how the conversation went.

Keep in mind this was this is our first text convo:

Me: "Hey, X. What are you up to tomorrow afternoon?"

Her: "You got something fun planned :)?"

Me: "I always do. Plus i know you need a break from finals"

Her: "Haha you're funny. What kinda break are you talking about"

Me: "One that includes food, my only weakness (reference to our first interaction) the rest im sure we wont have trouble coming up with."

Me:"scratch that, i just remembered i had set up plans with a friend that day. What do you say to getting drinks this Friday?"

Her: "Haha actually i am going out of town this weekend for my cousins wedding. I appreciate you being so persistent and confident. That'll really pay off, trust me. I'm actually currently seeing someone so im not sure if getting drinks would be a good idea, but you're a really cool guy and i think were pretty similar! :)"

Her message came off as a belittling and im getting hella mixed signals from that last text but any way the seeing some one killed it for me. I haven't replied to her message yet and am probably planning on ignoring it (Next?). I was curious what you guys would have replied with, if at all?
