I've been pretty busy lately so I ignored a girl on tinder for a day or two. I looked at her messages and thought I would just have fun with it so I told her I wanted to fuck that night. She said she didn't do casual sex but then after I provided a little bit of plausible deniability she gave me her number without even asking and invited me over (thanks trp).

I get there after I finish work (11pm) and she says "wow I wasn't expecting you to come, I'm not comfortable bringing strangers inside". I just laugh and say tinder is random and that we can go for a walk instead. About five feet away from her apartment building she says "ok this is weird but you can come inside". We go upstairs and she mentions that her roommate is home so we can't be too loud.

I'm nervous as fuck (she actually looks better in real life) but realize she probably is too and figure things are going pretty well.

We get into her room and I sit on the bed and she sits on a chair out of arms reach. We chat a bit... not very sexual but she still has big eyes when she looks at me. I'm just sitting on the bed and can't figure out how the fuck to escalate. I'm looking for interesting things in the room she can show me or other shit excuses to get her over but can't come up with anything good.

After a bit she offered to make me dinner and we went into the kitchen. This was probably the best opportunity for kino because we were both standing up.

In the end we go back to her room and just watch Netflix from different chairs lol. Both of us laughed pretty hard at the show and made some small talk. After I finished the food I went home. As we were saying goodbye she sort of hid her body behind the door, I think she was annoyed I didn't escalate.

My text game is pretty good but in person I'm pretty beta. Not a pushover but I just never escalate.

Does anyone have any tips for quickly building rapport? Easy ways to get her to sit next to me if I'm having trouble showing intent or don't want to come on too strongly to someone I've just met?

How to handle this girl moving forward? Right now I'm pleased I put myself out there but sort of ashamed I didn't escalate. I'm thinking I'll soft next her.
