TL;DR : Girl who I am interested in and started chatting with,who recently broke up after an LTR of 3-4 years,started calling me bro n shit,know what that means,just want to know how i can make her quit that shit and maybe fix my chances

Context: I've known this girl for a while,I first met her when she first started her relationship with her now ex( I shit you not the guy was a 5 foot 10 copy of shaggy from Scooby Doo,only thing he had going for him was that he was like 3-4 years older than her and "not like the other guys",and he was the definition of a beta male,took her everywhere and shit and its probably why they broke up).I posted some story on Ig to which she replied and we got back into contact after that and started chatting,she replies almost always within the first 10 minutes.Entered her profile and saw there were no pics of him . So i started to chat a bit more intensively and tried to flirt with her. Later on she tried to basically put me in the friend-zone(Or I probably put myself there more than likely by showing too much interest and probably not making my intentions clear from the get-go).I am supposed to see her some time next week when I go to her city to try and enroll into college(No,I am not going to that city just because of her,its mostly cause of College,i have some friends there too who i haven't seen in a while,and plan to spend most of the day with them).I want to know is how do I avoid this shit and how do I raise her level of interest.
