I know this may be a dumb question, but I'm curious about the theoretical framework happening in this situation.

A little of context: I was with my friends in university and there is a girl that for some reason likes to fight and challenging me about impossible things (like become an orchestra director) and I enjoy teasing (no sexual attraction, she is fuckable but a bit crazy, so no kino for her). Things went a bit out of control with the verbal teasing I gave to her and she yelled at me and went mad. I just laughed . At 13:00 I went to eat in the open with the other three girls (with the crazy girl among them). As there was only a free bench, we sit all together but when I (purposely) was sitting next to the crazy girl, she stand up and said "I sit to the other side, before I freak out". I just said "It's your problem, not mine."

So, I was eating while watching the birds, the people passing, the sky, feeling the wind (no, I was listening what the girls was speaking about, just playing dumb) and two of them became speaking about how their exes were assholes (the crazy one went as far as to say that all men are assholes, how she hates every one of them and that she is feminist, the other one asking why it's not possible to find a nice guy, while having a recovering one at her side eavesdropping their conversation lol). They told to any other how they dumped them, like how they changed after entering the LTR (from what I know, both of them had at least a 3 years LTR), how they didn't called back bla bla bla.

At some point I decided to continue to tease the crazy girl, making a little smile while she spoke (while still watching the birds and reading my book), so she stops speaking and calls me by my name. I ignore her so she calls me for other two times. I wait a couple of seconds and look at her and say are you speaking with me? (lol) so she says are you laughing at us?. I say No, I don't give a fuck what are you talking about, it's not my business, I'm in my head right now. From that moment have passed three days that the crazy girl don't speak with me. Better!

Well, I was very interested because I don't always have the chance to listen the bullshit girls speaks when they congregate and I wanted to check how the things they say fit into the TRP framework, but I don't really get it.

I mean, if the girls dumped them, that's means they, or branch jumped, or wanted to ride the CC again, but both of them are single right now and not riding CC for sure. So I assume the exes dumped them and may be understandable that the girls are sore about that. Another question is if even among women, do they speak covertly? I mean, why to boast about dumping them but being sore about how they were assholes? I expected them to speak about dumping them and finding another one better (even if it was a lie).
