My lady and I haven't seen each other in about a week. The past couple days she has been acting distant. She was at a convention all weekend and I was travelling. She invited me to a concert and I declined due to not feeling well. (She works in the music industry) Since then she has been acting distant.
Tonight we will be grabbing some dinner and if this distance is continued in person I'd like to have a conversation about it.
How can I initiate a conversation without coming across as needy or insecure? And in a broader sense, what is the best way to handle issues/concerns in the future?
To clarify: This is a woman I have been seeing for 6 months. She recently lost jobs, moved apartments, and has tons of stress going on.
