No they can't force you to live with the child or take custody of it, you are however liable for child support as you know.

Child support can be ridiculously high though depending upon your earnings, it usually works out cheaper to make an informal agreement with the mother as opposed to going through the courts.

I'd recommend you making sure this is 100% what you want because you're going to be footing the bill for the next 18 years.

If you change your mind and want to get out of child support then your only option is to move to a non REMO agreement country (For uk anyway), the problem is if you ever come back you can get raped by a large back log of payments.

My advice would be that having a child isn't worth it, especially with a plate but it's your life mate.

Lol what? Don’t do this man I know guys paying $1200-$1500/month in child support. They all cry about it, for good reason too. It’s basically a life sentence but you didn’t even commit a crime.

also if you don't have a job, and live on investments, I don't think you pay child maintanence
